Diving

Thanks to the still relatively uncontaminated environment at Marsa Alam, you can do some excellent diving without necessarily having to go to far away diving points by boat or descend down too deep.

From the land, in the "sharms" and "marse" (special inlets and coves) you can do some fantastic diving at low depths. The seabed covered by sea plants is surrounded by whole coral reefs and at a depth of only ten metres you can see guitarfish, all the fish species of the barrier reef and giant turtles adorned with large suckerfish.

Dives from the shore are not only less demanding but also advantageous in terms of movements allowing you to be back at the village in time for lunch.
