Location

Marsa Alam is a section of coastline in the eastern part of Egypt (almost on the border of Sudan), extending for around one hundred kilometres. It gets its name from the unique landscape and is a very small agglomerate of houses inhabited by fishermen.

Mass tourism has still not arrived here. There are not many resorts and they are located at a distance from each other and that’s all there is, except for sea and desert which makes for a very fascinating contrast.

In this section of unspoilt sea, which has only recently been discovered by divers, the coral reef is still.
